We purchased 3 Centurion Lux beds 3 1/2 years ago for our clinic. Shortly after the 2-year warranty expired, we began experiencing various mechanical faults and failures in all 3 beds. All 3 hand-set buttons are cracked, one foot pedal, and the extension power cord needs replacing. The auto press return button on one bed has since failed. Meanwhile, the upholstery on one of the bed's foot and seating cushions is cracking, scratching clients, and unsightly; it now needs gaffer tape and a blanket to cover it. The other two beds are now showing cracks in the faux leather on the headrest and foot cushion. The service report quotes re-upholstering the beds and replacing the handsets, which exceeds the beds' sale value. NB. All beds have been cleaned and maintained in accordance with company instructions.
